VÄSTERÅS SK NEW WORLD CUP CHAMPION FOR WOMEN!

The Swedish team Västerås SK beat Skutskärs IF 5-0 in the World Cup final Sunday afternoon, October 27. Västerås dominated the game from start and was the best team all 60 minutes. It is the first time for Västerås to win the World Cup!

This is the first time for Västerås to become World Cup Champion! Last year Record, Irkutsk won the title.

There will be a full Swedish final in the women’s World Cup at Ale Arena in Sweden. Skutskär won its semi-final against Villa Lidköping by 3-2 and Västerås won its semi-final against Record, Irkutsk by 2-1.
