The World Championship final in Irkutsk was a real thriller. After 2-2 at half time Sweden made both 3-2 and 4-2, but the Russian team stood up to the amazing home crowd. The reduction to 4-3 came in the 80th minute and Russia created the chances for an equalizer. Anna Lundin's 5-3-goal in overtime got the Swedish team to break out into a victorious roar.
- I'm relieved, happy and proud. What a fantastic day and what a great bandy game. I think we are the better team over the whole game, says coach Oscar Pettersson.
Anna Jepson starred with her three direct goals in the sunshine at the Stadio Trud.

- It's so cool to break away in the second half and manage to keep the lead is great. At half-time I told the team that I will not leave the arena without having won the gold, says the World Championship hero.

The team captain Frida Erlandsson got to raise the trophy after Sweden's sixth consecutive World Championship gold.
- It was hard and I am exhausted. It took on extra forces when we could barely hear each other on the pitch because it was kind of atmosphere in the stands. But there are so many match winners in this team and we are so strong, says Frida.
