The delegation from Russia, represented by the Mayor of the city of Irkutsk Mr.Viktor Kondrashov, his deputy, Mr.Igor Borisov, Chairman of the Duma Committee for Physical Culture, Sport and Youth Affairs Mr. Viktor Ananskikh, the Duma deputy Nikolai Valuev and Vladimir Matienko, Organizing Committe WCS 2012 for women, was lodged at the highest level. EC members got a possibility to take a look at the video presentation, about a great capacity of Irkutsk to conduct WCS on the high level. The last WCS for women showed that Irkutsk is more than ready to do this. Due to organizational solutions, technical capabilities to play matches at the same time in the six arenas both for Group A, B and C, the candidate, won the EC decision to have WSC 2014 in the city of Irkutsk.
