European Rinkbandy Cup in Nymburk, Czech Republic
European Rinkbandy Cup in Nymbruk, Czech Republic, will be an official FIB tournament and will be included in FIB Timetable. The winners of the open Nymburk Cup 2017 were determined in the playoff games. The victory of the Czech team in the final match against Murmansk-Severodvinsk team (5: 3) was very convincing (1: 0).
"Veterans of Pervouralsk" took part in the fight for the third place. This time the winners of the two previous tournaments got only bronze. The organizers of the competition decided to play not only the final but also the match for the third place according to the regulations of the 2 x 20 minutes. Quickly leading 4-0, the Pervouralsk met serious resistance from the advanced Slovakia team, however, they won the match with 5: 3.
The match for the fifth place ended with a victory of the national team of Germany. A debutant - the national team of Switzerland - deserves the most kind words and thanks for participating in the tournament.
The organizing committee, headed by Mikhail ENTALTSEV (Germany), determined the symbolic team of the tournament. It consist of:

Defenders: Andrei MARKOVICHENKO (Stroymash) and Eugen KUDRIN (Germany)
Forwards: DOSKOCHIL (Czech Republic), Igor KONOPLYOV (Veterans of Pervouralsk), Thierry PAZHE (Switzerland)
In addition to the symbolic team, in each team was determined and the most useful player in the tournament:

According to the participants, the tournament in Nymburk was very good. For countries, starting with the Bandy, every tournament is an excellent motivation for the development of bandy in their countries. Especially, when team Pervouralsk patricipated, with the players of high level. For this team, a tournament was a kind of master class.
All teams noticed the excellent organization of the tournament, the great work that the Organizing committee has done for the third year already. The Committee is headed by Mikhail Entaltsev.
Special thanks to the referee team that consisted of:
Head referee: Daniel Leibe (Sweden), assistants :Mario Christ (Slovakia) and Radek Kopal (Czech Republic) – these three persons took care of all 22 matches of the tournament, doing a great work. Under the guidance of the experienced Swedish referee, each game and the emerging game situations were analyzed. Daniel Leibe explained to his colleagues the interpretation of his decisions. He highly appreciated the level of his colleagues from the Czech Republic and Slovakia, it was a kind of referee debut for them. In terms of further preparation, the Czech and Slovak referees, with the support of FIB, plan to attend a referee seminar in October in Sweden.
