RUSSIA WORLD CHAMPION BOYS 19!

Russia is World Champion Boys 19 once again. In the final of the tournament in Krasnoyarsk, Sunday, January 27 the Russian team beat Sweden 2-1. It is Russias 12th gold medal for Boys 19, and the 3rd in a row. Russia won 2017, 2018 and now 2019. Sweden has won the Championship 16 times.

In the final game in 2019 tournament Russia had 2-0 in half time. Sweden reduced to 2-1 in second half but didn’t come any closer.

We also have to note that Sweden missed three penalty shots during the game, or rather, the Russian goalkeeper saved all of the. Therefore, it must be a difficult loss for Sweden.
