WORLD CHAMPION HAS BEEN APPOINTED 27 TIMES SINCE 1968!

World Championships for this age group have been designated since 1968. All titles have been won by Sweden or Russia (the Soviet Union up to 1990). Sweden has won the World Championship 16 times, the last 2016. Sweden was also the first World Champion in Finland in 1968. Russia has won 12 times and is now reigning World Champion.

Sweden world champion 16 times:
1968, 1972, 1974, 1978, 1980, 1982, 1984, 1988, 1990, 1992, 1996, 2000, 2002, 2006, 2010 and 2016.

Russia world champion 12 times:
1970, 1976, 1986, 1994, 1998, 2004, 2008, 2012, 2014, 2017, 2018 and 2019.

You wrote "as much as 10 teams", but there are only 9 teams. In the schedule, USA is listed in both group tables. In fact, there are only 4 teams in Group B (USA should not be there).
