2021 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS MEN
GROUP A AND B

The “2021 World Championship Men Group A and B” should have been played in Syktyvkar in the spring of 2021. Due to the Covid19 pandemic, the tournament was postponed and will instead be held in 2022.

The postponed tournaments will be held in Syktyvkar during March 27-April 3, 2022.


Later on, more information will be published here before these tournaments.


THIS IS SYKTYVKAR
Syktyvkar is located in Komi Oblast in northern part of the country, west of the Ural Mountains. The population amounts to about 900,000 inhabitants. The capital is Syktyvkar, and other major cities are Uchta and Vorkuta. Komi is one of the thirteen areas in the Barents region. In Komi is one of the World Heritages situated in the European part, a 32,800 km² primeval forest.

An impressive Anti Covid Protocol based on the safety of the participants has been presented by the organizers of World Championships in Irkutsk October 11-17.

For example all participants, coaches, officials, media representatives, referees and audience must be fully vaccinated and carry vaccination certificates to be able to enter any facility.

THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS FOR MEN WILL BE HELD AS PLANNED!

The Federation of International Bandy, FIB, today confirms that the two World Championship tournaments in Irkutsk and Syktyvkar next season will be carried out as planned. The World Anti-Doping Agency, WADA, has given its approval that the tournaments may be decided as exceptions to the current CAS-decision of sanctions
