SWEDEN WORLD CHAMPION BOYS Y19 2023

After a very unusual final game it was Sweden that won the gold medals. Finland made 4-0 in first half. But Sweden succeeded to do four goals too before half time. Finland had to play one player short due to an exclusion for the rest of the match – Rough reported penalty on Leevi Attenberg, Finland. Maybe that defeated Finland in the end when Sweden made 5-4.

Hungary was disqualified due to suspected drug abuse after the first game against Finland. That game was deleted in the Championship but you can see the match protocol even from that match at the bottom of this page.

FIB World Championship Boys Y19 2023 was continued with participating from Finland, Norway and Sweden.

There was also a friendly game between Norway Y19-Norway Y17 to give all three nations 3 games each in the tournament.
