RINK BANDY COMPLETED!


KRASNOYARSK EUROPEAN CHAMPION!


Krasnoyarsk – European Champions! Goalkeeper: Alexander Baskakov. Defenders: Sergey Lozovsky, Mikhail Afonichev and Evgeny Kudrin. Forwards: Dmitry Shchetinin, Victor Solodukhin, Oleg Redkin, Dmitry Efanov, Sergey Burlakov and Sergey Shuvalov.5th European Rink Bandy Cup 2019 was held in Senica, Slovakia, September 7-8. FIB decided the tournament is considered as the European Championship in Rink Bandy 2019.

The national teams of Slovakia, Germany and Switzerland participated together with two club teams of veterans from Krasnoyarsk and Pervouralsk.

The teams played 10 games in a group stage. After that the playoffs. In the semifinals, the Slovak team defeated the German team and went to the final. In the second semi final the team from Krasnoyarsk beat the Pervouralsk team with 3-0. Pervouralsk defeated Germany in the bronze game 11-1. The final was in one way a copy of last years final, Slovakia met Krasnoyarsk. Last year Krasnoyarsk won by 4-2. This year Krasnoyarsk won with the same 2-goal difference. But now the result was 5-3.

FIB DELEGATION MEETS IOC!
FIB delegation, Stein Pedersen, President, and Attila Adamfi, General Secretary and Vice President have met with Kit McConnell, IOC Sports Director, Irina Gladkikh, Associate Director, Winter and Recognised Sport and IF Relations, and Tania Tchea, Head of Recognised Federations and Organisations.

The meeting has taken place at the IOC Headquarters in Lausanne and the current situation of FIB and the different possibilities to include Bandy on the Winter Olympic Sports Programme has been discussed.
